My name is Daylene Redhorse and I am running for San Juan County Clerk. Born and raised on the Navajo Nation, I've spent my life in service to southeastern Utah's communities. As current Mexican Water Chapter grazing official, I understand the land and the people who depend on it. I have worked tirelessly registering voters across San Juan County and the Navajo Nation, believe every voice deserves to be heard, and all residents deserve to vote.

My priorities are:

*Election Integrity

*Dine Language Access

*Government Transparency

*Fiscal Responsibility

My name is Avery Olsen and I am a Democratic Candidate for San Juan County Sheriff. I have dedicated my career to serving the people of San Juan County. I began my law enforcement career with the Monticello Police Department in 2011, where I spent nearly a decade serving the community. In 2020, I transferred to the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office, where I continue to proudly serve today.

I am running on the principle of :

  • Expect more accountability.

  • Expect more proactive policing.

  • Expect more leadership, stronger support for our deputies, and greater engagement with our community.

Throughout my career, I have been a proactive law enforcement officer who believes in building trust, being present, and addressing issues before they become problems. I am excited to bring my experience, energy, and drive to lead the Sheriff’s Office forward.

San Juan County deserves a Sheriff’s Office that is responsible, professional, and continually working to improve. I look forward to earning your trust and sharing my vision in the months ahead.

Yáʼátʼééh I am excited to introduce myself as one of the candidates running as a Democratic for Utah House District 69.

My name is Tracie Yellowman Tso, a Diné Bit’ahnii woman from Diwoozhi Bikoh (Hatch, Utah), a pipe welder, and a Master of Public Health student who believes deeply in service, collaboration, and strong rural leadership.

From foster care to blue-collar work, from reservation life to higher education, and importantly a mother, my life has prepared me to listen, to work hard, and to fight for families who deserve to be seen and heard.

I want to on earn your support because I believe our Utah State House district deserves a representative with the strength, commitment, and lived experience to truly unite rural Utah.

This campaign is about teamwork, protecting our land and water, and building opportunities for our children and future generations.

Yáh át ééh, My name is Terry Whitehat and I am running to be a San Juan Commissioner in District 2. I am from the Navajo Mountain Community and I believe County Commissioners should conduct open communications, with transparency and inclusivity in their work.

My priorities are to:

*Protect and preserve water and land, (especially in Bear Ears and Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monuments).

*Create more inclusive sites for waste management  throughout the county.

*Fund Infrastructure Improvement; especially the road from Navajo Mountain to Oljato—so that all county residents can get to the county seat in Monticello, and to towns to meet their basic needs, faster.

*Create a U.S. mailing system so Utah mail does not go to Phoenix AZ and then be re-routed to Salt Lake City, in order to get to our county.
