My name is Daylene Redhorse and I am running for San Juan County Clerk. Born and raised on the Navajo Nation, I've spent my life in service to southeastern Utah's communities. As current Mexican Water Chapter grazing official, I understand the land and the people who depend on it. I have worked tirelessly registering voters and delivering an addressing system so they can vote across San Juan County and the Navajo Nation. I believe every voice needs to be heard and all residents have the right and deserve to vote.

My name is Norman Lameman and I am running to be a San Juan Commissioner in District 3. I am from the Montezuma Creek Community.

My name is Avery Olsen and I am a Democratic Candidate for San Juan County Sheriff. I have dedicated my career to serving the people of San Juan County. I began my law enforcement career with the Monticello Police Department in 2011, where I spent nearly a decade serving the community. In 2020, I transferred to the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office, where I continue to proudly serve today.
I am running on the principles of :
Expect more accountability.
Expect more proactive policing.
Expect more leadership, stronger support for our deputies, and greater engagement with our community.
Throughout my career, I have been a proactive law enforcement officer who believes in building trust, being present, and addressing issues before they become problems. I am excited to bring my experience, energy, and drive to lead the Sheriff’s Office forward.
San Juan County deserves a Sheriff’s Office that is responsible, professional, and continually working to improve. I look forward to earning your trust and sharing my vision in the months ahead.

My name is Tracie Yellowman Tso, a Diné Bit’ahnii woman from Diwoozhi Bikoh (Hatch, Utah), a pipe welder, and a current University of Utah Master of Public Health student who believes deeply in service, collaboration, and strong rural leadership.
From foster care to blue-collar work, from reservation life to higher education, and importantly a mother, my life has prepared me to listen, to work hard, and to fight for families who deserve to be seen and heard.
I want to on earn your support because I believe our Utah State House district deserves a representative with the strength, commitment, and lived experience to truly unite rural Utah.
This campaign is about: teamwork, protecting our land and water, and building opportunities for our children and future generations.
Yáh át ééh, My name is Terry Whitehat and I am running to be a San Juan Commissioner in District 2. I am from the Navajo Mountain Community and I believe County Commissioners should conduct open communications, with transparency and inclusivity in their work.
My priorities are to:
*Protect and preserve water and land, especially in Bear Ears National Monument.
*Create more inclusive sites for waste management throughout the county.
*Fund Infrastructure Improvement; especially the road from Navajo Mountain to Oljato—so that all county residents can get to the county seat in Monticello, and to towns to meet their basic needs, faster.
*Create a U.S. mailing system so Utah mail does not go to Phoenix AZ and then be re-routed to Salt Lake City, in order to get to our county.
*Economic Opportunities for all Communities.
